I am responding to your request dated and received in my office on April 7, 2020, under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in which you requested:
“…[R]esearch agreements contracts for the University of Illinois and its partnership with UILABS (UNIVERSITY Illinois Labs), DMDII (Digital Manufacturing Design Innovation Institute) and the Illinois SmartState Initiative Academia, Government & Industry Tiers for all UILABS & Department of Defense military research contracts from 2014-2020. The DMDII Digital Manufacturing Design Innovation Institute) contracts were recently renewed for another 5 years by the Department of Defense.”

• 140/7(1)(i) that exempts from disclosure “Valuable formulae, computer geographic systems, designs, drawings and research data obtained or produced by any public body when disclosure could reasonably be expected to produce private gain or public loss.”
